Media/communications student looking for a private room on the west side with nice rommates!

I'm a student fairly new to LA, I moved here from Sweden a few months ago and I'm looking to find a private room on the west side; Santa Monica, Brentwood, west LA, Sawtelle, Palms, Mar Vista and around those areas. I like to explore the city and everything it has to offer, live a healthy lifestyle, go to the beach, hang out with friends and go out for the occasional drink. I'm a nice, easy-going, respectful and drama-free person just looking for a safe and calm place to live where I can take it easy and study.
