Looking for anything to rent preferably furnished (Vancouver: Gastown, West End, Downtown Eastside...)

My husband and I are engineers. We will study in Vancouver for a year, starting in May 16th. Study full time, working part time until November and then working full time.

We are from Colombia but we have lived in Massachusetts, USA for a year because of an international internship. We shared the house with 3 more person. A young couple from Turkey and Ukraine, and a girl from Hungary. Also I’ve lived in Ohio, USA for another international internship. By that time, I shared the house with 3 guys (Bulgarian, Irish and Chinese) and a girl from Poland. So my husband and I have had good communication with other cultures. That would not be a problem for us.

We spend as much time as possible outside in our free times (hiking, biking, running, playing soccer, etc.) We definitely like our quiet time at home to recharge and to study but we also enjoy socializing with people. we are pretty easy going. No drugs, non-smokers, no parties. We don't have any pet. We speak English and Spanish.

We are clean and we just want a home in which study and relax, with respectful and kind people. We respect the privacy of others.
