Young female professional coming to Boston for year long position at school in Allston

I am a recent college graduate coming to Boston from California to pursue my career through a year long position under the Foodcorps program. I am passionate about food and nutrition and am going into public service. I like to garden, cook, exercise, watch movies, paint, and go out and explore new places (like this city!). Fun fact: I've never lived in the snow, so this will be interesting.
