I just finished my Bachelor's degree in neuroscience in Germany and coming to Montreal for an internship in a lab at the École polytechnique Montreal.

Hello :) I am Anastasia, currently living in Freiburg (Germany). I just finished my degree in neuroscience and got a scholarship to do an internship in a lab in Montreal. I am super excited about that! I have been living in shared flats for a while, so I have a lot of experience sharing the space with different people, I changed 4 flatshares during my Uni years. During these 3 months in Montreal, I would love to explore the city, go to museums, and concerts, check out the local underground scene and also do some hikes, and observe the nature around that area. Apart from being a nerd, I am into electronic music and love clubbing when I have time, but I am also balancing it out with regular yoga and meditation and long walks or hikes. I will work 40 hours a week during my internship, so most of my time I will be in a lab. However, I would be down for a beer/cup of tea in the evening or doing smth together on the weekend. I respect people's personal space and also need some time for myself from time to time, so it would be cool if it's the same for you and we could still hang out when we have time or cook smth nice together at home :)
