Looking for cool roommates to join me (30 something freelance fashion stylist who works from home a lot) in my 3 bedroom apartment in lovely Clinton hill on Clinton Avenue. Clinton hill is a gem of a neighborhood, that hasn't been "discovered" in the way that Brooklyn neighborhoods like Williamsburg have. It is an elegant neighborhood with old mansions and huge trees. It still has a tight knit community feeling and is diverse in the way that (hipster) Williamsburg and (yuppie) Park Slope are not. All amenities are within a couple blocks, as well as Dekalb Ave's restaurant/bar scene and restaurants varying from Japanese to Italian just a block away on Myrtle ave. The closest subway stop is the G train to Clinton Washington or you can walk a bit further to the C train at Clinton Washington, but a hub of busses (B54, B62, B38, B69 etc) run within a block away and will take you to any train imaginable: A, C, F, Q, B, N, R, 2, 3, 4, 5, L.

I am looking for people who are experienced in living with roommates and/or know the qualities that are necessary to live compatibly with other people. Friendly but aware of boundaries, responsible in general but more specifically with on time payment of rent (without being asked), and shared cleaning duties as well as being conscious of what is ok within a shared space. The unfurnished rooms are somewhat small, but not by NY standards. Approximately 8.5x11, they can easily fit a double bed and dresser, etc and there is plenty of closet space. The light filled apartment is old and pre-war, but with classic charms like exposed brick and hardwood floors. We have a sweet fire escape off the living room that looks out onto the buildings backyard. 420 friendly but keep it mostly on the fire escape same goes for smoking-absolutely no cigarettes inside.

Looking for people for June 1st. Rent is $1150.00 and includes all utilities. Move in requires First, last and security. This is all necessary as you will not be on the lease but we can certainly do a sublease. Looking for people who are committed to living here for long term, ideally a year.
