Beautiful apartment with *private* roof deck near F,G,R

Hey weary apartment searcher,

So we're looking to fill a room in our three BR apartment in Gowanus, right on the edge of Park Slope. I'm looking for someone to commit to at least until the end of October (and possibly longer from there). I've been told by many people that I should never leave this apartment, and once you check it out and I think you'll understand why.

Location:

The neighborhood is great. I've been here for about four and a half years. You're a two-minute walk from the F train/R train/G train, which will take you just about anywhere you need to be in the city or Brooklyn. 15 minute walk to Prospect Park. Gym is one block away. We're a few blocks away from the new Whole Foods and around the corner from one of the best coffee shops in Brooklyn. Also really close to 5th ave which has every kind of retail store you can imagine. I've never had any safety issues in the time I've been here, most would describe this as an up and coming neighborhood.

Apartment:

Right now two people live here, we're both male professionals in our mid-20s. I'm a writer, other roommate is a lawyer. We're both pretty chill, easy to get along with, 4/20 friendly, sports fans. We have two cats who live here and they're pretty great, but if you're super allergic this probably won't work out.

The apartment itself is sweet. We moved in two years ago when it was newly renovated. We have a huge kitchen with brand new appliances, washer/dryer in unit, dishwasher, central heat/AC in every room, and a top notch entertainment center with 55 inch TV, DirecTV, and every streaming service imaginable (if you play video games, that's a plus) and the highlight is a private roof deck that's accessible through a staircase inside the apartment with an unreal view of the city.

The room itself is small, but doable. I know because I lived in it for two years. I love this apartment. If you're in need of a bed, I will give you the one that's in there.

You:

Have a job and work hard at it. Aren't allergic to cats and maybe even have a soft spot for them. Generally have your shit together. Can afford to pay $1150 per month, plus $100 or so in utilities (covers electric, gas, internet and DirecTV). Are relatively clean. Send a short description of yourself, what you're into and maybe your instagram so I know you're a real human. Would prefer a male in the 23-30 age range, but that's not necessary.

Honestly, this apartment is awesome. I love it. I want to live with someone cool who will appreciate it.
