$1125 7/1 Spacious Master in a 2BR Wash Heights 5 FL Walkup (Utils Included)

Hello! My lovely roommate and friend is getting married and moving out. This is for her master bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment to move in on July 1st (possibly 6/29 or 6/30). This is a long term rental for 6 months or longer. This is not a summer sublet or a short term rental. No Pets. Hospital employees welcomed! Please read all of the below so no one wastes anyone's time.

You'll be rooming with just me. I am seeking a like-minded working professional. Please have a real job, be clean, an adult, 420-friendly and easy going.

I will be showing the apartment this weekend and Memorial Day Monday, please contact me to schedule a viewing. Rent is $1,125. This price includes utilities (gas, electric, Spectrum cable and internet) Utilities typically run between $225-$300 depending on the month and since everything is in my name, it'll just be easier to pay one flat rate for everything. Please describe yourself a bit and tell me a little background and/or your situation. And don't forget to leave your name, email and phone number.

About the Room/Apartment:
(Warning!) This is a 5th floor walkup. No elevators! You've been warned.
But trust me, you get used to it. You will also build strong leg muscles or just get fat and order more take out like me. I don't know the exact size of the room but it's a good sized bedroom. The entire apt. is a total of 1,125 sq ft. The apartment is west of Broadway, on a very quiet block. Even in the summer, on the 5th floor, you won't hear much from the street. The room faces the street, with access to the fire escape, unlike my room which faces nothing and looks out into a filthy corridor.

Apt/room is semi-furnished (no bed!). There is a couch, tv and stand, coffee table, armoire, bar, wine rack. A/C for sale for $50. The pictures below are recent but cluttered. Most of that stuff will be outta there when she moves out mid-June. I also plan to have a cleaning person come in and deep clean the bathroom and kitchen soon. Bathroom is standard with a very strong flush (no clogs ever!) Kitchen is semi-new with a working dishwasher. (Although I prefer to hand wash) No rodents or bugs as long as we keep it clean.

About the Neighborhood: Google It!

Close to all major transportation, 3 blocks to subways: A/C/1 at 168th Street (Express! YASSSS!)
Note: This is primarily a residential area of the heights with all the stores you might need but the area is lacking in terms of variety of restaurants and bars. If you want nightlife, you'll need to walk up to 181st or Inwood or head down to Hamilton Heights in the 140's. But it is one of the safest areas in all of uptown. Also, laundry is 1 block away and parking is scarce.

About Me:
Single, queer-ish/straight, cis-male Asian professional in my mid 30's. I work at a non-profit in midtown. I support women's rights, LGBTQ rights, minority's rights, most liberal agendas and of course, Cynthia Nixon! Grew up in Queens but I have lived in the heights for 5+ years and love it for the most part. I enjoy upstate lakehouse weekenders, long rambling emails, spicy food, sports, 420, wine & whiskey, Excel formulas, pub trivia, documentaries, Hulu and chillin'. I play and coach an adult softball team on the weekends in the summer. Do you play? We can Uber together.

I enjoy going out on the weekends but I'm pretty much a homebody during the week. Work 9 to 6 and keep to myself. The great thing about this setup for you is that the living room and your bedroom are on the opposite side of the apartment from me (see hallway pic). You will never see me in the living room unless I have a rare guest over, which is almost never. It's practically like living by yourself, minus the sharing bathroom/kitchen part. I do like to cook and love to share my food, hope you're hungry! But otherwise, I will pretty much stay in my room 95% of the time when home.

Folks, the rent is $1125 all utilities included.
I have no idea why the Quoloc rent display keeps changing it.
