I am starting a PhD at UdeM in September and am looking for a place to live.

I'm moving to Montreal from the UK in late August / early September to start a PhD at UdeM and i'm looking for a place to live. I'm 22, and very laid-back and sociable. I like to go out and try new things / meet new people, and I like to have a drink / meal out on the weekend. I'm looking to move into shared flat in a sociable / lively neighbourhood (plateau mont royal, mile-end, mile-ex, little italy etc.). Ideally I'd like to be living with students / professionals of a similar age / situation. I speak English and am currently learning French. I'm a respectful flatmate and keep clean. Ideally i'm looking to rent a room with a maximum budget of $700/750, but I can be flexible on price.
