I am moving to Canada from Australia to work and I am looking for new friends to stay with for my year long experience!

Hi there! My name is Louise, I am 21 (I'll be 22 by the time I move), I currently live in Melbourne in sunny Australia and I'm very excited to be moving to Canada next year.
I will be transferring through my current workplace to one of the stores over there which has been an idea I've had for a couple of years now. I've never been to Canada before so I'm very keen to see as much of the country as I can whilst I'm there. I've always wanted to go to Canada as everyone I know that's either visited or moved there have only ever said positive things. The culture, the scenery, the snow (I've never seen snow in my life) all seem so beautiful to me.
This is the first time I will be leaving the country alone as well as moving out of home for the first time so I am hoping to find roommates to help me feel welcomed and "at home" in a place so far away from the actual home I've lived in my whole life.
I am a very extroverted and outgoing person and I love meeting new people. Since I won't know anyone when I move I'm even more excited to make friends as this is kind of a fresh start for me.
I follow a Vegan diet but I always cook all my own meals and I have no problem with friends and housemates alike eating and cooking meat. Everyone has their own lifestyle preferences and I respect that. I am however more than happy to share any creations I make! (I make incredible red velvet cupcakes..... trust me)
I am hoping to find a home as close to inner Vancouver as possible as it's more than likely where I will be transferred to. Public transport will be much easier the closer I am!
Oh, and I absolutely love animals so any and all pets are totally welcomed by me. They're just more members of the family!
I know this profile is up a little early but I'm a very organised person and I like to have everything in place to make this move as easy as possible.
