Furnished room available for Rent in 5 br shared house. Our home consists of easy going young, easy going, professional artists..

The house is technically two separate suites (garden level and upper level) and the room available is in the upper level suite. Occasional passage through both upstairs and downstairs is generally allowed but depends on all roommates preference/comfort level.

Currently, all roommates in the house are friends and all work in the arts; acting, directing, camera, editing, etc. We often have many communal activities (meals, movie nights, games) but enjoy personal space as well and the house is large enough for that.

We also share utilities and internet to help keep the cost as low as possible.

THE SPACE
House is nearly brand new - built in 2010. Consists of:
-5 Bedrooms (3 upstairs, 2 downstairs)
-3 Washrooms (2 upstairs, 1 downstairs)
-2 Kitchens (1 in each suite, dishwasher in upstairs suite only)
-Each suite also has it's own Washer, Dryer and Living Room
-Backyard and Front Yard
-Back Balcony
-Garage with extra storage space (Garage is also used as a small art studio for painting, construction, and film production w/green screen, lights, etc.)
-Internet, Printer, TV's, communal BBQ and vegetable garden, available to all suites.

TRANSPORTATION
Parking is available on street but we are also very close to several transit routes, #3 on Main Street stops at 59th Ave in both directions and walking distance #100, Canada Line Langara, as well as Canada Line Marine Drive and the new Cambie Village (see local amenities in neighbourhood info below)

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Quiet, Safe Neighbourhood, close to Langara College and Langara Golf Course. Other local amenities include: YMCA, Superstore, Best Buy, Canadian Tire, Marks, and at Cambie Village: Shoppers Drug Mart, TnT, Steve Nash Fitness World, a new Irish Pub, most banks (CIBC, BMO, TD), a wealth of other shopping and restaurants, and Vancouver's only VIP Cinema.

Great for young professionals, artists, filmmakers, or students of Langara College.
