Room available in Spacious 3-BR Astoria Apartment

My roommates are moving out after three years, and I'm looking for someone to fill a room in my spacious 3-bedroom Astoria apartment. The sublet is available starting on January 15 and is $950, plus utilities.

About the apartment and rooms: the room has a large window and big closet. The apartment is a third-floor walkup with a big balcony. You'd share the bathroom with just 1 other person.

Location: 3 minutes from the 36th Avenue stop on the N/W, and 8 minutes from the 36th and Steinway stops on the R/M. 20 minutes from Manhattan. Close to lots of restaurants, cafes, bars, grocery stores...everything you could want!

About me: I'm in my mid-twenties and work a fairly regular 9-5 in publishing. I'm reading constantly, and I like historic house tours, travel, and anything French. I'm easygoing and like to socialize as well as spend some time on my own.

No couples or pets, but you'd be welcome to bring friends over and make the space your own, while also respecting each other's quiet time.
