One room commercial/broadway short/long term ok
Hi guys!
We have a room available now in our house corner commercial and broadway. You are litterally less than a minute walk from the skytrain station, and then 5-6 minutes ride to downtown!
About te room: -$750 monthly (including all utilities with internet, laundry etc...)
-unfurnished (although you can see a thin mattress on picture that can stay there if needed.
-wardrobe
About the house: It is divided in 2 levels between which ones the communication is only possible by going outside because there is no stairs inside, so really you'll have everything you need upstairs, but you will always be welcome downstairs if you want too!)
There are 3 bedrooms on each level. In the upper suite (the one you would be living in), one of the bedroom has its own bathroom and is occupied by 2 really cool girls from Lithuania (25 y.o) who have been travelling together for a long time. Then there is a Canadian dude (with whom you'd be sharing a bathroom), 25 years old as well, botanist, living in the second bedroom (the smallest of the 3), again really cool guy, very busy with his work which is super interesting!). The 3 of them have a more regular schedule and work monday to friday daytime.
Finally in the bottom suite we are 3, for the 3 rooms. One Japanese guy who has been in Vancouver for 4 years, again really cool (I know but what can I say! Everyone's really nice!), and 2 guys from France, my mate and I, with whom I have been travelling most of the time for the last 7 years. We've both been living in Oz for a few years and decided to come over here with a 2 years visa, see what happens next! I work in a restaurant (this is my career) in kits and my 2 friends work in a 420 friendly cafe downtown.
The living room upstairs is not yet furnished but will be shortly, I am getting on it but being new in the city with no car it's a bit hard! A good point though for the upper level: if you open the door from your kitchen you're on a nice deck overlooking our little garden!
We all are pretty laid back and are looking for someone with a similar vibe, reliable, no heavy drinking, no partying at home, no hard drugs . The rest depends on you!
It seems pretty hard to find someone at the moment so we are willing to rent on a short period basis (to see if you like it or simply if you only need some accomodation for a month or something).
