Looking for Roommate. Furnished 2 bedroom.

Greetings!

Searching for a roommate to share a large spacious 2-bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor (top floor) for the 1st of September. Two balconies (back and front) Laundry in building. Quiet neighbors. 2 min walk to Papineau metro on the Green line. Grocery stores, deps, cafes, bars, restaurants very close by. 5 min walk to Parc la Fontaine and Parc des Faubourgs. 10 mins from Downtown by metro, short walks to Plateau and Old Port, Concordia, UQAM and McGill. The apartment is non-smoking but as I mentioned there are balconies.

The bedroom (and apartment) is fully furnished with double bed, dresser and vintage trunk, high speed Wi-Fi, heating, hydro, hot water and rent all included for 740/month. Mid to long term sublet. Lots of light from the windows facing southeast. The bedroom itself is large and there is a private balcony as well as a decent size closet. It is actually all white but if you want to paint it I could help you ☺

The kitchen and living room are also pretty large and make a great communal open space that feels a lot more like a great 5 and a half. The apt has high ceilings, about 10 feet. Bathroom is medium sized and bright. A long hallway separates the room from the living area so the set up is perfect for keeping quiet and intimate when needed.

I’m 33 year old guy. Open minded and I like to cook. I grow herbs and plants on the back balcony. I have a quiet respectable boyfriend who stays over some nights and other nights I stay at his place. So sometimes you would have the whole place to yourself! Sometimes I work a lot, others times less so. I’m returning to school in January to finish my degree. I’m originally from Prince Edward Island but have been in Montreal for close to 10 years. I speak French as well but am always trying to improve on it. I have a fair amount of plants and if you have any to add its perfect. I’m also open to having a small quiet dog as I take care of friend’s small dogs from time to time but unfortunately I’m slightly allergic to cats.

My current roommate, who is also a very good friend has just finished her Masters degree and is moving to the Yukon. I’m very sad to see her go.
Searching for a mature individual. Preferably late 20’s or older, quiet & mature, who is in school or works full time. Looking for someone who is focused on their own things whom I can trust and who respects space and privacy but also open to having the occasional dinner together and with friends or a chat over coffee in the morning. GLBTQ friendly, any language or background is welcome.
