Looking for a roommate for Jun 1-- near Columbia Presbyterian

Hi!

I'm looking for a roommate to take the second bedroom in my apartment. I would like to find somebody who can stay for at least 3 months, starting June 1. However, you could move in as early as May 15 if necessary.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
My apartment is located in Washington Heights, very close to NY Presbyterian Hospital/ Columbia University Medical Center. There are several supermarkets, laundromats, and delicious take-out places nearby. The A/C/1 are only 1.5 blocks away, and it takes about 30-40 minutes to get to midtown. There are some great parks in the area including the Hudson River Greenway, the Harlem River Greenway, High Bridge, and Fort Tryon. Also, my favorite tres leches cake is only a few blocks away.

THE APARTMENT:
The apartment is a 4th floor walkup in a pre-war building. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub, and there are hardwood floors throughout.

THE BEDROOM:
Your bedroom is about 8.5 X 11 feet and is unfurnished. It has a closet and a window.

RENT:
Rent is $925/mo including utilities (i.e. wi-fi, gas, electric, water). First month + deposit + proof of income required for move-in.

Unfortunately, the lease does not allow pets :( No smoking in the apartment.

ABOUT ME:
I'm a 29 year old female, currently doing data management and analysis for an HIV research group at Columbia University Medical Center. Some of my favorite things include music, Netflix, travel, biking, and food.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR IN A ROOMMATE:
I like to have a relatively clean and quiet living space to come home to. I am a light sleeper who typically sleeps between 12-8 am. So ideally, I would like to have a roommate with a similar schedule or who is OK with having "quiet hours".

No preference on age or gender-- just be respectful, financially stable, and LGBTQ-friendly.
