Large room available March 1st, 2016 in 3Bed/2Bath in BedStuy

I am leaving my 3 bed 2 bath apartment in BedStuy at the end of February. If you've heard that this neighborhood is "up and coming" that's an understatement. There are two boutique-y restaurants across the street on the same block as the apartment, one which is especially great for vegans, and one which I believe is a rib joint (being of the former persuasion, I have never actually eaten there). Two or three cute cafes up the street and a great little wine/beer place called Bedstuy Brews (check it out no matter where you end up). There is also laundry literally across the street where you can do your own or drop off.

The apartment is fairly spacious. The layout is long (not railroad!) so everyone has private rooms and I nice common area for the kitchen and living room. Also, 2 full baths for 3 people means no shower scheduling conflicts.

The rent is $925/ month plus approximately $70 for bills. The current roommates are two women in their early 30s who work in nonprofit and one 9 year old turtle named DimSum (who is unbelievably friendly for a reptile and likes to keep an eye on the action in the living room).

The open room is at the back of the apartment, so very quiet. It does get a bit cold in winter, but nothing a space heater can't compensate for. The plus side is that I didn't run an air conditioner at all in my room last summer. There is an AC unit in the living room, which circulates well.

It takes me 40 mins to get to Columbus Circle during rush hour.
