Hi All!

We're Rahul and Brandon- two young professionals- Rahul-working in civic technology and social enterprise- is from San Francisco originally and Brandon- working in market research- is from Sydney, Australia.

We're two laid back people enjoying living in the heart of multiple areas with great connectivity to all over Brooklyn and minutes from Manhattan.

Rent: $1050 a month all inclusive of bills, etc.
TimeFrame: End of March until July 31st (4 months)

A bit about the area:

Fort Green is a hidden gem with the best of both worlds. It is very well connected to the rest of Brooklyn including a short distance to Williamsburg/Greenpoint, and easily connected to all of Manhattan. 30 second walk to Fort Greene Park (great luxury to have in the city) for jogging or free concerts/movies. Plenty of CitiBike share docks around the apartment. Beautiful area with tree-lined brownstone streets, amazing local restaurants, bars and cafes, BAM, Barclays Center, and weekend flea and farmer markets. We have a laundromat literally in front of the house, Bodegas/Supermarkets are along the street, and we live right above a famous bike repair shop/coffee shop.

We're looking for someone- guy or girl- who is currently working in the nyc area or currently enrolled as a graduate student. We'd love to share the apartment with someone social but doesn't tend to bring the party home at the same time. Someone who likes the idea of cooking and having a meal or drink together from time to time and getting to know each other. Definitely keen to have someone who respects the cleanliness of the apartment and is up for doing their part to keep the place in good shape.

The room is quite spacious because it features a lofted bed, so plenty of space to work with for a desk/ sofa etc, under it, as well as a good amount of storage space and a proper closet. Rent includes all bills and all other costs. For whoever gets to take the room, it would be ideal if it could be sent to me via Venmo at the beginning of each month.

The apartment is furnished and the room itself can be either furnished with the basics (bed, stand, closet etc. if you are planning to bring your own desk or sofa etc.) or the room can come with the furniture of the current tenant -who is willing to sell the nice current furniture she has at a reasonable cost to whoever moves in you'd like (nice futon sofa, dresser, etc).
