Converted bedroom available in Brooklyn Heights

Hi,

I am searching for a roommate to live in the second bedroom of my converted 1BR apartment in Brooklyn Heights.

About the building:
- Doorman
- Elevator
- Laundry in the basement
- Great commute- building is across the street from the A/C train, only one stop out of Manhattan! Also a 3 block walk from the 2/3 train. 15 minutes to midtown. Can transfer to the 4/5 only one stop into Manhattan as well.

The neighborhood is beautiful and extremely safe. I am just a couple of short blocks from the Promenade and Brooklyn Bridge Park is just down the hill. Dumbo and Cobble Hill are within walking distance.

About the apartment:
- Nice sized kitchen with dishwasher
- Living room has couch, large table & television
- Your bedroom has two large windows that overlook a residential street. Lots of light! The Brooklyn Bridge and Empire State Building can be seen in the distance.
- The room is approximately 9.5 X 12. Can fit queen size bed, desk, dresser, other drawers, etc.
- AC unit installed in one of the windows.
- Room will be unfurnished.
- Utilities come out to around $100 per month.
- Note: Management does not allow me to put up a wall so there is a freestanding curtain that divides the second bedroom (your room) from the rest of the living room. You have your own closet on other side of curtain and will share an additional closet by the front door. I am very understanding of your need for privacy and will respect that.

About me: 31, female, actor/singer/baker/Bar & Bat Mitzvah tutor. I'm in and out of the apartment multiple times a day. I have my own baking business which I run out of the apartment so you must be ok with the apartment smelling like cookies. On the plus side: You would end up as my default taste tester, if you so choose.

You: 20s-30s, no smoking, no drugs, no live-in significant other, no pets. You will split utilities (electricity, internet and cable) with me.

Looking for someone who can commit to minimum 3 months.
