Bright Room - January 1st Near Downtown

The apartment is a two bedroom so it would just be the two of us. There's a lot of natural light and a balcony. The available bedroom is unfurnished but it currently fits a queen size bed, dresser and has a large closet. The rest of the apartment is furnished (I'm currently working on refinishing a TV stand) and you're welcome to add you're own belongings! The apartment has tons of storage; including a hallway closet, pantry, and a small storage locker for skis etc. There is free street parking available and a bus stop right on the corner. The apt is located in a really cool area called Hastings Sunrise. There's a lot of great restaurants, its close to downtown, and just across the bridge to North Vancouver for hiking & skiing. FYI there is no dishwasher or in suite laundry but there is laundry in the building. Rent is $925 all utilities included (tv, internet, heating etc.). Half a months rent deposit is required and looking for at least 6 months lease.

I'm mid twenties and work at a firm downtown organizing their community involvement initiatives. (I drive into downtown for 8:30am everyday so perhaps we could workout a carpool situation if you also work downtown.) I'm very easy going and friendly. I'm not a partier/smoker but like going to dinner with friends/having a glass of wine. I'm not a neat freak but dont like when things are dirty either. I have a Roomba that vacuums everyday - its the best!
I'm pretty busy and like to spend a lot of time outside hiking or at the beach in the summer. Probably most important - I have a cat and a dog, and frequently watch a friends dog. Its super important that my roommate likes animals. They are veryyy friendly and very well trained (dog training is a hobby of mine and I compete with my dog in agility). I usually have my dog with me when I'm not at work and can shut them in my room while I'm out for the evening etc. so they're not in your way.
