Bright quiet private room in East Village
Comfy, large, high ceiling, bright and quiet room. Furnished (Large closet, queen bed)
Laid back, drama-free apartment but respectful. We're kind of quiet during the week. Go out more on the weekends. Have people over on the roof here and there during the summer but we don't bring the party home much otherwise.
The rent is $1600/month + utilities (usually 40-50 per person between Time Warner and ConEd). We also have a cleaning lady coming once a week ($20/person/week) who does a great job. If you don't want your room cleaned, we can probably work something out.
One bathroom, clean... not much traffic there historically as one of us starts quite early in the morning.
There's a washer and dryer in the building and a lot of laundromats very near-by. We have a dishwasher in the kitchen.
Top floor (6th) walk-up.
Very nice private rooftop with an amazing view of the city. We eat most of our meals there usually as early as mid-April.
The building is between avenue A and B. 7 minutes from L train (1st av. station) and 10' from Astor place.
You would not be on the lease. We ask for first and last month.
No pets, no drugs.
There's a dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, oven etc, etc.
