Large, simply furnished room (double bed, mattress, linens, desk, chairs, simple shelves/hangers in closet, small storage (other pieces available if needed) for rent with a deep closet for storage and hardwood floors. The space is full of light, thanks to two large south-facing windows. The room's east wall is really great exposed brick and beams, and also has a really charming fireplace. No central AC, but a window unit is included.

Rent is $1100/month, plus utilities, which are very reasonable, around $30/month per person for electric/gas/internet. Total move-in costs are $3300: a one month's deposit + first and last month's rent. Looking for one year lease.

The apartment is a very convenient 5-minute walk to the Myrtle or Flushing stops on the JMZ, and about a 10-minute walk to the Montrose stop on the L or the G. There are lots of 24 hour convenience stores/delis with a few minute walk (including one that specializes in healthy food options), and a handful of very cool coffeeshops, bars and restaurants within 5-10 minute walk.

The apartment itself is very quiet - you'll share it with 3 respectful and conscientious roommates. Everyone gets along and pitches in to help keep the apartment clean and tidy but for the most part folks keep to themselves.

The living room has a very high ceiling and a huge skylight. We recently cleaned up the back yard, so there's also space back there now for parties, grilling, etc. The kitchen, etc is pretty well stocked so you won't need to worry about bringing much with you.

No laundry in the building, but a 24-hour Laundromat is literally right next door. You can also usually find parking right outside on the street if you need it, and I had a motorcycle safely on the sidewalk for most of the time.
