I'm looking or a roommate to share this large, beautiful, bright, centrally located apartment with me.

It is available starting December 1st, flexible.

*Rent includes hot water and radiator heating.*
*Internet, electricity, and gas for the stove come out to about $44/month per person.*

Ideally, I am looking for someone to treat the apartment as their own -- someone who wants to commit to it for a longer term as a home, to share responsibility for the space and contribute to the environment. While I have furnished the place, it would be great to have someone who also wants to bring furniture and their own sense of style. It is important that we maintain good communication about the space and our expectations in terms of living together.

The apartment has great energy so I would love to find someone who contributes to that by bringing care and creativity. It's a great place to work and relax and is well suited to creative endeavours with space for a home office, studio or workshop. Since centralized radiator heating is included in the rent, the apartment stays very warm and cozy in the winter without the air drying out.

The apartment is huge with two bedrooms and two living rooms. This layout allows a lot of privacy for two people and the possibility for each person to set up their own working and living space in one of the living rooms.

The apartment also has a large kitchen, bathroom, entry-way, and balcony. It is the corner unit on the top floor so it receives plenty of natural light through the large windows and a skylight. The orientation of the apartment means it receives direct light moving through the rooms from sunrise to sunset. Hardwood floors, high ceilings, radiators, and original moulding all contribute to the look of the space.

The kitchen is equipped with all appliances including a gas range and a washing machine. One living room has a stereo with a turntable, cd player, and aux in for computers and phones, lots of vinyl and CD's.

My cat, Benjamin, lives in the apartment. He is very friendly and relaxed. There are also many plants, which I am continually adding to. In the summer I grow a balcony garden and try to compost. There is a large shared back terrace in the building that could be used for planter gardening or enjoying drinks with friends on a summer evening.

I am a woman in my early thirties. I work as a film artist, director, and technician. If I am on a production I will rarely be home, but if I am focussing on my own work I spend a lot of time at home. I love to bike, and do so almost all year round. I fantasize about building my own bike. I also enjoy reading and listening to music, although I try to be sensitive to my roommate's tastes and moods when it comes to music. Sometimes I can be heard playing guitar and singing, but I tend to do this when no one else is home.

Je cherche un(e) coloc pour partager un bel appartement situé au coin de Parc et Laurier.

L'appartement a deux chambres à coucher (l'une est la mienne; l'autre est celle disponible pour vous), deux grands salons, une grande cuisine, salle de bain, salle d'entre, et balcon. Situé au dernier étage (3e) au coin de l'immeuble, l'appartement reçoit beaucoup de lumière grâce aux grandes fenêtres et au puits de lumière. Planchers de bois franc, chauffage à l'eau chaude et moulures originales.

La cuisine à un four à gaz et une laveuse.

Il se trouve entre les quartiers du Mile End et du Plateau. L'autobus 80 passe à chaque 10 minutes pendant la journée et se rend à la Place des Arts, McGill, et se connecte aux lignes verte et bleue du métro. L'autobus 51 passe aussi à chaque 10 minutes pendant la journée et se rend au U de M, le campus Loyola de Concordia, et se connecte aux lignes verte et bleue du métro.
Le supermarché PA est à 5 min à pied, ainsi que plusieurs dépanneurs, des pharmacies, des boulangeries, des cafés et des restos. De plus, il y a une vue sur le Mont Royal, situé a proximité.

Mon chat, Benjamin, habite dans l'appartement.

Je cherche quelqu'un qui veux considérer l'espace comme chez eux, et qui veut créer une belle atmosphère. C'est important de garder une bonne communication à propos du partage de l'espace et des attentes en colocation.
