Hello everyone!

A huge room with an attached full private bathroom is available for rent in a modern 4 bedroom apartment in the heart of the gorgeous neighborhood of Greenpoint in Brooklyn starting September 1 for a monthly rent of $1300. I am moving countries and looking to transfer my lease to a potential new tenant. I am sad to say goodbye to this beautiful apartment and neighborhood, but excited for whoever will be enjoying this wonderful place I called home.

The apartment is centrally located - less than 10 mins walk to the G line Nassau avenue station and about a 12 minute walk to the Graham Av L train station. The L train takes you right to Union Square in Manhattan in about 20 minutes, and if you work in the city, your commute from the apartment will be quite convenient. The room itself is the largest of the 4 bedrooms in the apartment, can easily fit a queen or king sized bed with additional furniture, brightly lit, with two large windows, french style doors and a spacious closet. Cable and high speed internet are already set up in the room. Gas, water and heat are included in the rent. You will only be paying for electricity, cable and wifi which is less than $40 a month.

The apartment is newly renovated and freshly painted, located on the 3rd floor of a quiet and clean building, has a large kitchen with a breakfast bar/ample counter space and storage, high ceilings, central heat and air conditioning and a spacious living and dining area. Laundry is located within the block and there is a huge supermarket right next to the apartment for all your grocery needs. There is also a great coffee shop right downstairs, a bunch of restaurants, delis that are open until 4 a.m. and serve up some great sandwiches. Also right across the apartment is Msgr. McGolrick Park for some amazing morning jogs or evening strolls. If you own a car, there is also free street parking right in front of the apartment and the streets around the park. All the cool restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping, gyms of Greenpoint as well as Williamsburg are just a short walk away!

The best part about the place - You would be sharing the apartment with 3 awesome roommates, who are like a close-knit family and always watch out for each other. They are two guys and a girl in their late 20s - all working professionals who all work long hours and are only home late in the evenings and night. They love to hang out, spend time with each other, cook communal dinners but also respect each other's privacy.

We are looking for an awesome person to replace me and take over my room as I prepare to leave the country. We would love to have someone who is respectful, friendly and easy-going, mature, clean, financially stable and more importantly someone who will add to the positive vibes of the apartment, enjoy the occasional drink/meal/movie together, and take pride in their beautiful home.

The room is available for an immediate move in (September 1), and you will be taking over for the remaining 11 months of my lease until July 31, 2017 with the option of renewal for another year if you love the place. There is NO BROKER FEE and you would only be required to pay the first month's rent and a security deposit to move in ($2600). There will be an application process with the building management which will include filling out an application, providing pay-stubs and bank statements, and a credit check.
