1 room available in 2 bedroom apartment off Broadway in Astoria

Hello!

My roommate is moving in with his boyfriend, so I'm looking for a new *female* roommate! It is one bedroom available in a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment on Broadway and 34th Street in Astoria. The rent is $1,050 plus utilities (they run roughly $60, a little more if you have an A/C unit). The room is available May 1st. In terms of the lease--it would basically be month-to-month, but with the intention of a long-term time frame. To move in you will need first month's rent and security deposit ($2,100 total).

About the apartment --
The best parts about this apartment (in my opinion) are the location and the layout. This is by far the best apartment I've lived in for roommates--the bedrooms are on opposite ends of the apartment, separated by the bathroom, kitchen and living room (with a hallway to boot). I keep the common areas clean, but I'm not anal about it. We just have internet, sorry, no cable (it's too darn expensive). The kitchen is almost fully stocked, but there's definitely room in the living room for more furniture. The super lives below us and is very responsive. Please note: no pets allowed.

The room open is the larger of the two rooms, has two windows, a big closet (for NY standards) and is facing the street. (Apologies for the picture of the room--clearly it's in a messy/in the processing of moving out state.) The room is UNFURNISHED.

About the neighborhood --
Located just 3 blocks/5 mins from the Broadway N/Q stop in Astoria, about an 8 minute walk from the R/M Steinway stop and less than a 10 minute walk to 30th ave, the location can't be beat! There are tons of restaurants in the area, laundromats on every corner, the best organic grocery store in Astoria and the best gym in Astoria (Club Fitness Astoria). We're also a 15 minute walk from the only movie theater in Astoria.

About me --
I'm a 26-year-old super proud born and raised Vermonter living it up in the best city on the east coast. I work for a non-profit performing arts organization and have pretty solid 9-5 working hours (I tend toward the early to bed, early to rise). Outside of work I like to spin, do yoga and run (currently training for the Brooklyn Half); I love baking and try to cook most of my food; I see as many Broadway shows as my budget allows; I play in a community orchestra; and like most millennials I have a borderline unhealthy relationship with Netflix/Hulu. I am an introvert, so I am really quiet at home and treat my living space as more of a sanctuary than anything. I don't tend to have people over during the week, but from time to time my sister or mom will stay over for a night or two. I am respectful, drama free, and do not smoke, drink or do drugs (I'm not a nun, just not interested).

About you --
I'm looking for a mid-late twenties lady (sorry, no guys or couples) with a stable job and someone who is clean, drama free, able to communicate and looking for long-term housing. We don't need to be BFFs, but it would be optimal if we at least mesh well :) It would be great if we had opposite schedules (helps with the bathroom use) and/or you didn't cook much (or at least don't have much in the cooking appliance department). No drugs, live-in boyfriends or pets.
