Bedroom in renovated 3/1

A room in our newly-renovated 3/1 is opening up for a Feb 1st move-in. First months and security deposit ($1,100 each) will be needed to move-in. Sorry, but no live-in couples.

THE SPACE
Great space in a great building, clean, spacious common area, recently renovated, and amazing area.
Rooftop has panoramic views and there are super wide stairs to get up to the apartment, it's four floors though, which is a bit of a trek :-) ... but an elevator is under construction!
Located on South 11th st between Wythe and Berry – just four blocks away from Broadway in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Close to coffee shops, grocery stores, 24 hour delis, and to all the art, bars, and fun in Williamsburg.

The room itself is on the smaller side, has a closet, and brings in light through a window to an adjacent room (see pictures). The room will be unfurnished.

ABOUT US
We're two mid-20s college friends from Texas that moved here 2-3 years ago for 9-6ish jobs in advertising.

I enjoy falling into Wikipedia/Tumblr wormholes, not turning down any food I am given, attending live concerts, biking to the outskirts of the city, and being an amateur photographer (comes free with a smartphone, I think). She's pretty similar.

We're laid back, low-key, and not much bothers us. We value being clean (and would like someone who also keeps common areas clean) and respectful in a house with others.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Broadway is lined with bars, eateries and shops. The Urban Market on Kent & Broadway has amazing food for reasonable prices if you're going to cook and drop-off laundry down the block has free delivery. If you go further north by a few blocks you are in downtown Williamsburg, and there is just about anything and everything you could want to do there (except hike maybe ;-)).

Five blocks to the JMZ. 2 minute bike ride to the bridge. 1 block from busses.
